No, Virgil Skinner is not a sexy hero name, but this is still a good read :). This book was very fast paced, once I started I could not bring myself to stop and I loved every minute of it. The plot was interesting and I liked the characters, the only things making this a 4 star book instead of a 5 star for me were the fact that the heroine was unrealistically idealistic in my opinion and the relationship between her and the hero kind of went from 0-60 without much development. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will definitely read the rest of the series as well as Brenda Novak's other work. I would highly recommend to other romantic suspense fans.

Great fast paced story. I loved the characters and really found myself rooting for them. I couldn't put this book down.

Ridiculous and improbable plot and characters. I didn't finish reading the book and won't be reading any more Brenda Novak books.

I thought this was a ridiculous story, I got half way and it just didn't get anywhere with the story. It was just stuck with descriptions on every page about the 'first meeting attraction that led to sex the first day' and it just went on and on and the story just wasn't even hardly started so I thought it was slow and boring and I can't stand page after page of descriptions and repetitions over and over. I have no desire to read the other two in this series. What a disappointment Novak was with this one.
