Coben is a Master! In "The Innocent" he has written a superb mystery thriller. Ordinary people thrown into extraordinary circumstances and doing what they must to survive - if the bad guys don't kill them first.
Coben artfully ties hundreds of story threads together, throws in some surprises near the end, and brings the story to a well developed ending. His subtle sense of humor throughout helps the story move along effortlessly.
This audio kept my attention throughout, and although there are a lot of "coincidences" and close escapes from death, it makes for good listening. The characters were fully fleshed out as well!
Coben writes with real quality - I definately will be getting more of his offerings!

Many twists and turns throughout this story.
Read by Dylan Baker an excellent reader and storyteller. Many characters and equal number of suspects and villians. Hints and clues throughout the story, yet no forgone conclusions. This mystery was fun to listen to and justice does pervail. Yay
