Blah, blah, blah....I wanted to enjoy it but just couldn't. The last hundred pages were better than the first two hundred.
I liked this novel a lot. It's not the usual sex manual I expect from Avon; it has serious thought about marriage and what it meant in that era as a union of families. But it's funny as well. Artsy widow meets stuffy duke, sparks fly, he offers for her, and then the relatives start coming out of the woodwork, secrets are revealed, adjustments have to be made, expectations are challenged. Very good read.
