I hate to see any of Campbell's series come to and end. There is one more book in this one. Campbell writes great space opera. However, it looks like he's started another series featuring "Black Jack." This time, once again in opposition to his own government.

As for this book, hopefully in the next one we'll see the President and the General open their hearts to each other. Campbell has been playing the "people who won't admit their love for each other" plot device for several books. In this book it appears one of the main characters is killed in action. Another disappears and we wonder why. I think he got upset when the General called the President by her first name. On such minor things the fates of entire worlds hang!
