This book is very detailed and tells the complete story of what happened with the Casey Anthony case. It is amazing to see how someone can lie and manipulate people and situations and get away with it. I guess that with the different things that are kept away from juries, they can hardly make an intelligent decision to determine guilt and innocence. I am glad that our system of justice is intact, but the pendulum seems to be favoring the degenerates of our society most of the time these days. I recommend this book to anyone that is wondering about the details of the Anthony case. At times it moves slow as Ashton leaves no leaf unturned, but worth the read.

Don't usually read real crime. While the insights to the Florida criminal system were insightful, I just couldn't wrap my head around reading about the death of a little girl.

This is the Casey Anthony prosecution strictly from the view of one of the lawyers. For what it is, I consider it a good book, accurate and fairly detailed. Can't say the writing is gripping in every spot, but it gives a clear picture of working conditions encountered by the legal team trying to get justice for the victim, Caylee. I liked the logic of how they constructed the case, the little details of what the defending attorney tried to pull off, and the honest amazement and disappointment shared by the team and law enforcement at the eventual verdict. If you're looking for anything salacious or the scandal elements this book will bore you. But for legal detail it's very good.

I loved this book. Jeff Ashton is a great writer. He gives detailed information about what was going on behind the scenes in the interrogations, the investigation, and mainly, the actual court case. You hear about Caseys lies, Jose Biaz' dramatics throughout the case, all from his point of view. This is one, if not my favorite, Non-Fiction book. If you want to read a book about Casey Anthony, but feel you already know everything about her and the case, read this book.
