This was and is a puff piece. I swear it reads like a revised script for a Discovery Channel special - I can all but see the graphics of the various biological processes at points. Its not bad, but not as good as I'd hoped. It does give a good grounding in biology basics, as well as aging and various attempts to halt or reverse the process.

Bova gets a little annoying nea the end as he tends to label all with concerns over cloning, stem cells and similar issues as knee jerk reactionaries - ones that will inevitably swept away in a cry of "But I don't want to die!"

The time wasn't wasted, but I'm glad I got this one from the library.
