Col. Adam "Iceberg" Friese was scheduled to pilot the next space shuttle, Atlantis, to dock with the Russian space station, Mir, until a freak accident just before the launch sidelined him. A fast paced thriller involving terrorists taking over launch control and threatening to blow up the space shuttle if their demands are not met.A very fast read that once started is virtually impossible to lay down before you finish the book.
