This book was a real grabber. It was a little scary because it seemed so real. I would recommend it.

The book is about terrorists who set off nuclear bombs underneath the Ross ice shelf in Anartica causing a tidal wave up to 1000 feet high in some areas of the Pacific Ocean wiping out entire islands. Need to read it.

This is one of my favorite books, hands down. I cannot understand how this hasn't been made into a movie yet. The characters are interesting and engaging even when you want to slap them, the conflict interesting, the motives thought provoking-on both sides, and, well... I just want to be Wilhelmina Bailey.

The book deals with the standard danger, adventure, love-hate, world-in-peril conflict as well as the ideals of heroism and sacrifice, sometimes in surprising and sometimes in tragic ways.

I have no idea if the science is reasonable or complete BS and the language is repetitive at times; but who cares? If you love adventure and suspense and like to imagine the CGI as you go along, read this book.

A manmade solitron wave threatens the Pacific Rim. Even scarier is the lengths out military and politicians will go to so we won't find out. Has a lot of technical military info, if you like that stuff.

Antarctica on Thanksgiving weekend, six nuclear warheads detonate sending creating a wall of water threatening global devastation. Believable plot, well written with a surprise around every corner.

My first book by these authors and I have to say it was a lot of fun!

The plot is outrageous and the action is fast paced and non stop. I enjoyed the revealing of new weaponry, both real and imagined.

The characters are fairly well developed and sympathetic. The plot twists are unexpected and sometimes out of left field.

As with most of this genre, fortuitous rescues are a stock in trade and the reading requires a large dose of suspension of disbelief. This is a page turner well worth the time to read it. Be prepared to devote most of your time to this story until you finish it.
