A girl who went missing 4 months ago, walks out of the woods and is hit by a car. She has been subjected to brutal treatment during her captivity and there are also 3 other girls who are still missing. Erica is writing a book and is in contact with a woman in jail who has a link to Patrik's case of missing girls. This is the 9th book in the Patrik Hedstrom series and my favorite of the series so far. It is tightly plotted and the characters are very interesting. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series and would highly recommend readers to start at book 1 and learn more about the characters of this unique Scandinavian crime series.
