I enjoyed this book very much. This is a peek into one chapter of Francie's life, narrated from her point of view. The issues she deals with are pretty serious, even bleak at times, but she tells them with such deadpan humor that it doesn't come off as dark at all. It's a fast read which pulls you in quickly.

Although Liebegott writes well, I just wasn't really able to identify with the protagonist, let alone the secondary characters. I'd try another of her books, but this one filled time, nothing more.

I personally could not get into this book. I couldn't identify with the charachters at all and thought they all acted irresponsible. The book was totally unbelievable. As one other reviewer stated it was something to pass the time and nothing more.
