This is an absolutely wonderful series. I had read some reviews of this series that it wasn't very good. I certainly disagree. Avery is a delightful main character, she's surrounded by an interesting and diverse supporting staff and even though I've never lived in a small town in the south, I can see it so clearly in my mind. By this, the fourth book in the series, the whole story line has grown into an absolutely delightful series. I'm waiting anxiously for the next book in the series.

This series is getting better with time. A nice "cozy" mystery series set in the mountains of SC.Characters are portrayed in a good light as opposed to some stereotypical southern settings.All 4 books hold your interest throughout. A recommended read for any fan of mysteries set in south.
