Josie Quinn and Noah Fraley are just hours from getting married when the body of twelve-year-old Holly Mitchell is found on the steps of the chapel. The wedding is put on hold while Josie and Noah investigate the death. When Josie attempts to notify Lorelei Mitchell of her daughter's death, she finds Lorelei laying in the kitchen, dead from a gunshot wound. All pictures, letters, and computers have been destroyed. Lorelei's youngest daughter Emily is missing. It's a race against time for Josie and her team to find eight-year-old Emily and discover who killed Lorelei and Holly.

This series gets better with each book. I loved the plot with its twists and turns. Everyone had secrets that Josie and her team had to uncover. A sad event impacts Josie's life during this story. I know she'll have a hard time with this, but she'll be stronger in the end. My rating: 5 Stars.
