Sometimes writers just don't have enough to write a trilogy and they shouldn't force it. This was so poorly written. I hate it when characters do dumb things and the relationships do not make sense.

First of all, the three Madison sisters were supposed to be close. So why wouldnt Lisa just give Suzette a heads up that she was trying to avoid Lord Pembroke for giving her food that made her sick? And why would Suzette be so dumb not to realize Lisa didnt want to dance with him. Second lets force Robert to marry Lisa because he will get over her betrayal and love her? Excuse me? The man had a major trust issue with women. What were they thinking? To be honest I stopped reading after that. I skipped to the end to find out who the baddie was.

It wasnt funny. The situations were dumb. The characters lacked the closeness showed in the previous books. A complete waste of time. Overall the series wasnt that great anyway. Not worth it.

Ok, the storyline was pretty good. The characters were interesting, & the plot played out pretty much like we expected. But really, four attempted kidnappings of the heroine, and saved by the hero each time? The villian was sooo obvious, but I have to say, his demise was quite unique (at least I've never read about THAT before). If you suspend credibility when you open this book, it can be quite enjoyable.

I liked this book so much I finished it in a day. Most I can finish within 2-3 days with my 9-5 job, but I could not put this one down. The characters were so lovable to me that I couldn't sleep until I found out for certain everything ended well. I agree with the other reviewer that you knew who the bad guy was fairly quickly, but there were other twists in the book I, myself, did not see coming. I laughed out loud at several points, too. This is the 1st I've read of the Madison Sister trilogy and I cannot wait to get the other 2 stories and discover how the other sisters fell in love with their hero's. *sigh*
