~~ I ordered a couple of audios for a road trip to OH. This CD was so entertaining I had to turn it off as I approached my destinantion for fear of missing my exit. Upon arrival I sat in the car to hear the last 15 minutes. I felt the voice was right and did not distract from the story. The story was tight with just enough twists and turns to keep you engaged. Overall, a good way to spend a few hours when tedium abounds.
Awesome story, keeps you guessing until the very end!
This was one of the best books I've ever read. Dean Koontz weaves a tale of horror when a man's wife is kidnapped and he must learn more about himself than he ever wanted to in order to get her back.
Typical Koontz!! twisty turny and very good !
If you like Dean Koontz you'll enjoy this book. It was suspenseful and interesting.
I listened to this on audio today and it was such a disappointment. No humor, no golden retriever's and a bland leading man who finds himself in an unthinkable situation when his wife is kidnapped & held for a ransom he can't possibly meet (he's a gardener). Chaos ensues, secrets are revealed and all ends relatively well. It had its moments of suspense but overall was a pretty blah Koontz novel. Not horrid but nothing I'd be interested in reading again.
