I was very disappointed in this three book series which could have been one good book without the huge number of filler phrases. I eventually started skimming to get through the repetitive dialogue. I hope that turning one book into three was more someone else's idea (like an editor or publisher) than Ms.Johansen's; otherwise it cheapens her reputation as an author with this obvious attempt a garnering more sales.
