#2 of an Eve Duncan trilogy. Run run, chase chase, good vs. evil in and around the Colorado forests and old mining towns. Eve running from the psycho bad guy...all being sought by the 3 letter agemcoes and Joe, Kendra, margaret and Jayne and Jayne's two fellas, who are naturally gorgeous, sexy and charismatic and fighting over her like 2 (selfish) dogs worrying over a tasty bone. A bit too Barbara Cartland for me. (definitely dates me, no?) However they both help Jayne hunt to win points.
The usual mix of guts, glory, gruesome and awesome. And the usual supernatural, paranormal mix of ghosts and unseen forces.
Missing is a list of agents in Pakistan.
So, a good entertaining read. Not literature, but entertainment nonethe less. I'll read the last one too.

Lots of action in the second book of the trilogy and of course she leaves you hanging to get to the third book. I really like the new character she has introduced, Margaret. She is a kind of an animal and people whisperer. It will be interesting to see where she goes with her in future books. On to the final installment.
