There are many reasons why a person could start feeling very lonely and start to avoid social interactions, but this book took these feelings and amplified them with a predator and a prey. With an interesting twist by allowing the reader to read through the mind of the "killer", this book was set on a different level. It didn't take me long to get the characters straight and quickly follow the investigation as they slowly figured out what all was going on in their community.

A most unusual and highly well written mystery thriller! Took time for me to understand what was actually "going on" in this story...Looking forward to reading more from this author.

Quick and very dark read, with a uniquely twisted character. I found myself humming "Eleanor Rigby" to myself while reading it.

I loved Into the Darkest Corner and Dark Tides, but this one not so much. I thought the plot was too far fetched even for me and I'm pretty open-minded with weird plot lines. Anyway, it did pick up towards the end but not enough to save it for me.
