This is the autobiography of Hudson Taylor. Hudson's father prayed for a son to go as a missionary to China. When Hudson was 15, he felt called by the Holy Spirit to begin preparing for work as missionary in China. He went to school as a doctor and began his mission work in China. Wars, racial disturbances, criminals and many other things threatened to interrupt Hudson's work in China. He became the leader and the China Mission society and remained until his death in China in 1905. Great book. Great gift.
