Another great addition to the pet-sitter series. I enjoyed the setting in this book. It was nice to be out of L.A. for change and learn more about Dante's wild animal sanctuary - HotWildLife. The mystery was good even though I pegged the suspect early on. I'm happy that Kendra has finally decided between Dante and Jeff.

Not her best. I felt like I was chugging through this book. She spends most of her time in her "Escape" in this book. Poor Lexi spends most of her time home alone. I love wildlife and was excited about the topic in this book but it was a little unbelievable her interaction with them. She hardly does any lawyering or petsitting in this book. I really like meeting the animals she sits for. Her A.D.R. was not good. Her one human case she took on as a lawyer was too predictable. Because it is Book 8 and you read the first 7, you will read it. So that when you read book 9 you will not be lost.
