My daughter loves this series. I originally purchased the first one because it is the first chapter book that I have seen with a black main character. Since I read Ms. Wesley's adult mystery books, I was pretty certain that it would be a good read. She can't wait until #6 is available. My daughter loves this character so much, she dressed up as her for Dr. Seuss Day at her school! :-)
