I really enjoyed this book! It's a lovely story about a woman touched by tragedy who finally decides to look for love again. I think what made it so special is the likability of the characters- Claire, the main character is a realistic, down to earth person you would like to know. Her mother and her teenage daughter, the secondary characters, are also very sympathetic and not the usual stereotypical annoyances. I found the author's style very easy to read and in some parts very eloquent. I've read some more of Sheila O' Flanagan's books, and in some of them the lead characters are petty and not very nice- not so with this one, it's my favorite of hers!
