I credit this book and the strategies it lays out as the primary means by which I got out of debt years ago. It's simple and straight forward steps were easy to follow and when I applied them to my financial situation (several thousand dollars in debt), I was able to zero my debt in one and a half years AND put together a nice savings nest egg. Whenever I find myself slipping financially, I return to this book to get back on track.
