Ugh. Very slow read. Very boring. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends. It's a little too churchy for my taste too. I know lots of people wouldn't mind, but I am not a religious person and I don't like to read about religion.

I really enjoyed this book. I think people are "surpised" by the preachiness because it is not listed under the Religion & Spirituality genre like most Christian fiction. It covered a lot of women's issues around work/life balance, what we are willing to "settle" for and how we treat other women. I found it to be a quick and easy read.

I enjoyed this book...a tale about 4 women trying to get a small business off the ground and finding true friendship through it by coming up with some *Dolly Parton Simple Rules* for their business.
I did not find it too *churchy*...thought that the characters worked through some real life problems who came together and became closer friends.

This book was slow, and it was also pretty preachy. Lots of God/Bible mentioning. However, I still enjoyed it. Each chapter is devoted to 1 of the 4 main women of the book. Just fluff really, no real meat. Great book for a 'break' in between books. Can be read in an afternoon.
