A little disappointing. I really liked the way that the book was organized by category. I thought it would make a great reference book to have when doing organization jobs for friends and facing challenges in their homes that I have not had to address in my home. However, even though I did glean some ideas from this book, it just wasn't good enough to keep as part of my permanent collection.

Neat, well-organized book. Problem areas--like mail, stuffed animals,souvenirs--are listed alphabetically for ease in zeroing in on specifics. The author helps you think through and tailor solutions specific to you and your needs.

This is a well-organized book with a quiz you can take and many helpful suggestions for clutter. but, as the author says, you just have to bite the bullet and do it!

Having read and skimmed through many books on clearing clutter, I found this one to be very well-written and usable.
Starting with an overview of clutter and its costs, the author quickly moves to how to make a plan for conquering clutter and even a 10 Commandments of Clutter. The majority of the book is an organized alphabetical list of clutter types with truly great ideas There are also several Clutter Checklists to keep you headed in the right direction.
At the end are reminders to live by, questions, a list of container types and their best and unique uses. The author finishes with a Resource list in case the book is not enough.
This book is a great motivator and will help you find solutions.
