EVERYTHING you ever wanted to know about....building your own home. Excellent reference for tricky little things like how to make your own stair supports. We had our home custom built for us and then added on decks ourselves. It was nice to have a reference to "check up on" how the contractors were doing things.
Very good reference book for those who are looking to build their own home. All aspects of construction are covered, from roof to foundation.
