I have not listened to this audio (tape) version, so I don't know about the reader, but I have read the book and enjoyed it. A young, slightly misfit girl, trying to solve an old murder in her tiny sleepy town. I think a lot of readers here who were very intelligent and spent a lot of time reading as kids will find many commonalities.
