Loved it! It keeps your heart racing fast and you can't put it down, and it's also educational, I learned a good deal about dangerous viruses and how relatively simple it really is for them to spread all around the world. Great read, highly recommended!

Wonderful book! I couldn't wait to get home at night and see what was next! Fast read - and creepier because it really happened. Shows that germ warfare agents CAN get out into the population......and have!

This is a creepy book that proves that truth can really be more scarier than fiction. It will, I guarantee, make you think about that guy sneezing in front of you. His other book The Cobra Event is as equally good.

This is one of my favorite books of all time. An infectious story about an infectious disease.

This book is horribly scary and it is true. The bestselling landmark account of the first emergence of the Ebola virus.

Now a mini-series drama starring Julianna Margulies, Topher Grace, Liam Cunningham, James D'Arcy, and Noah Emmerich on National Geographic.

A highly infectious, deadly virus from the central African rain forest suddenly appears in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. There is no cure. In a few days 90 percent of its victims are dead. A secret military SWAT team of soldiers and scientists is mobilized to stop the outbreak of this exotic "hot" virus. The Hot Zone tells this dramatic story, giving a hair-raising account of the appearance of rare and lethal viruses and their "crashes" into the human race. Shocking, frightening, and impossible to ignore, The Hot Zone proves that truth really is scarier than fiction.

Fascinating read, also very scary. We were very lucky this wasn't infectious to humans because there was just all kinds of exposure to the general public. One can only hope that a real infectious version of teh virus doesn't get into the human population. The science was explained in very understandable terms so it isn't too deep for anyone to read.

This is medical thriller, But true. Ebola grows proliferately right outside Washington DC. It is believed to have come from a ruined African rainforest left to grow lethal Viruses. Dozens of monkeys die. What will be done? What can we do? This story true will scare the nerves out of you.

Timeless terror. I was scared in the 1990's the first time I read it. Then came Anthrax in 2001. Then Mad Cow Disease. Now Swine Flu.

This book demontrates that very powerful, deadly viruses exist that we don't even know about yet and could be transmitted at any time. A must read.
