Elite Force: That Others May Live. Also full of action and everybit as sensual as the Love at Stake series which is vampires, tigers, wolves and bears. These guys are all human and seriously awesome pararescuemen. I am looking the read Book 1, Cover Me, in this series and then Book 3, Under Fire, when it comes out later this year. It also makes me want to read her other military based books.

In this book Hugh Franco, saves Amelia and her nephew, Joshua, buried under 3 stories of crumbled hotel in the Bahamas in the aftermath of a devastating earthquake and continuing after shooks.

The usual mayhem after such a desaster uncovers an underground baby adoption ring, when they are kidnapped by the bad guys. Constant action and intense emotional situations bring Hugh and Amelia together to face the demons of thier past and find peace with each other and save her adopted nephew.

This was enjoyable. I really liked both Hugh and Amelia. Holy moly. Neither Hugh nor Amelia really get a break. First there is the earthquake and then kidnapping. Don't worry- they still find the time (and energy) for many sexy-times! I also enjoyed the other side stories with the other couples: Aidan and Lizbeth and Liam and Rachel.

I read the first book in this series and hated it so I didn't continue with series. I couldn't find anything else to read so I decided to give this series another try. I am so glad I did. It was a great story and I was so happy for Hugh getting a second chance. It also sets up Liam and Rachel's story for the next book.

Hugh is in the right place at the right time for Amelia. An earthquake has her trapped under a building when Hugh slides in to rescue her. This is only the first of several rescues he will have to do to keep Amelia safe. This book is fast paced with a lot of action.
