I did like the story line in this book, and I thought the author did a nice job of turning life-long friends into lovers. I didn't really care for how the heroine Jenna decided to play around like she was only in the relationship for the physical aspect, instead of showing her true feelings, then whined and acted shocked when she didn't like the results. I liked the main character Bryce, although I think the author could have done more with his job as a chef.
There is some definite potential for a sequel with Bryce's brother Trey & Jenna's sister Sarah that I'll be watching for... I think it'd be worth the read.
In my opinion, the author could also have done a better job with fitting in the love scenes... some of them almost felt like they'd been edited in after the original story was written, and I think some of the more "erotic" parts were a little over the top & the book would have been better off without them- (a stranger watching them from the end of the alley... and with no real reason for him to be there?... hmm...)
Otherwise, a fairly good story.
