We read this Golden Books Road to Reading "Getting Started" book over and over. Great for beginning readers. My children loved it.

Very easy book for the beginning reader, but funny enough to amuse ages 2-6. Each sentence is 3 easy words. A hot dog becomes a cool-in-the-pool, chilly dog. Cute illustrations.
