There was a nice obit of Dr. Hamlin in The Economist (Faith Healing, 11 April 2020 for the European edition). I have not yet seen the book but was surprised that a copy was still posted today (June 20th) when I read the obit. It will go well on the bookshelf at the old soldiers' home.
Catherine and Reg Hamlin did creat a 'story of hope- in their life's work in Ethiopia. They continued their work with women of child bearing age through the governments that followed the ouster of The Lion of Judah; she describes the problems for hospitals. She shares how Eritrea still had an Italian feel when they visited in 1961. Many chapters are about their early days in country. No map.
Dr. Catherine Hamlin received a fine obit from The Economist.
Bibliography, no index (so I deduct one star from my rating).
