Interesting story that weaves through three different eras with a surprising connection.

An interesting tale of a hope chest and the three women who hold the secret key. Lady Amanda Pratt in 1820's England, modern day Martina Chamberlain and Sara Tolliver from the year 2405 are the heroines of the three stories. Three women, three centuries and one destiny. A good read.

The first two stories in this were pretty good, but the last one totally lost me. I almost couldn't finish it. The ending of the last story was completely impossible in my opinion.

I'm basing my review and rating on the first story in the anthology.
Yesterday's Magic by Jacquie D'Allesandro - Lady Amanda Pratt saw the beautiful box in the window of Gibson's Antiques and curiosities, but the store was closed for lunch. When she hurried back to buy the box, she found that it had already been purchased by Maxwell Wolford, the Earl of Dorsey. Amanda attempted to buy the box from him, but he was not interested. Maxwell was a recluse who rarely ventured into town since people referred to him as "the Crazed Killer of Cardiff" after the death of his brother, the previous Earl. But the day after obtaining the box, Maxwell ends up on Amanda's doorstep requesting her help in opening the ornamental box.
This was a cute story about the box bringing the hero and heroine together. I was afraid I was going to be reading about a big misunderstanding near the end of the book, but the author chose a cute twist to wrap up the story. My rating: 4 Stars.
