This was as good or better than than the 1st one. Female Hornblower in space.

Honor Harrington, now officially a hero, is sent along with a diplomatic mission to the planet Grayson for a treaty. Once again Honor ends up in a pitched battle against a superior foe, during which her only fault is to blame herself for not doing more. I thought the patriarchal leaders on Grayson came around awfully quickly to the "we love Honor" camp...but this isn't a series with a lot of nuance. Great battle scenes and once again pages of tactical and weaponry info.
