Ex-Maine Max Templeton had his gun poised as he chased the figure deeper into the old moonshiner's cave. But when he tackled his prey, he was astoni shed to discover that lying under him was a woman who knew how to fight back! Betty Quint struggled to escape his grasp, but the admiration and desire in Max's eyes stunned her.

I enjoyed the situations the lady of the book often found herself in. It had a lot of good humor. I even read a few instances to my husband and he also could relate with the male character and found the humor in the situations.
