I really enjoyed this book. It shows a side of the population that is forgotten. The strogly christian people out there who feel no need to go church for various reasons. There walk with Christ can be amazing. Can Charity and Rick become equally yoked??? If you like love inspired then this book is a must read.

A inspirational romance where Charity has her mind set on marrying a church man (preacher, deacon, or the likes) when she meets the contracter builder at her church, Rick. The both set out to show the other about a relationship with God (as both of them don't think the other's relationship with
God is strong enough, but in the end will their acitns really change the other or themselves?

Great story that pulled me into it. A little more complex than most of the Love Inspired books. Charity and Rick were very likeable, believable characters.

I really enjoyed the flirting and looks between the two. The story also made me stop and remind myself that judging someone else, whether I know the facts or not, is not a good thing.

Just when I thought I knew where the book was headed, it took a sharp turn that I didn't see coming. Had me very anxious for what was going to happen. Good romance and suspense!

All is not what it seems in this story of two people heading in different directions but unable to deny the attraction between them. Church going Charity, groomed to marry a preacher or deacon and Rick, the contractor, who refused to go to church, let alone lead one. They couldn't be more different.

I liked the premise and the themes of this book, but thought the ending was less than satisfying. It seemed to me like the author put all her work and thought into the first three-fourths of the book , but didn't really put much thought into how she could realistically tie it all up.

This is a modern Christian romance book. A preacher. A deacon. That was the kind of man nurse Charity Sims planned to marry. Which is why her lovesick behavior around Rick McKinley, the contractor building a family center for her church, so confused her. He refused to go to church, let alone lead one. So what if he was handsome and charming? They couldn't be more different. Charity's mission was clear: Help him see God's light and enjoy the fellowship of Believers. A loner, taught to depend upon himself--he was going to be Charity's greatest challenge to convince about God's love.
