Home at Last by Anita Higman is a sweet, refreshing read. I enjoyed it, especially, since it was written from the viewpoint of Olivia, a young woman who only seems to see the good in people. This is not, however, because she hasnt seen the worst of human nature. It is because she has chosen to see the best in those she calls friend.

Olivia is a very special person, and Noah notices that almost immediately. Olivia is inexplicably drawn to Noah, who appears to be somewhat of a scalawag. As the two of them work out their relationship, they must overcome some major obstacles. Secrets come to light which cause Olivia to question her judgment. Will she find that her trust has been misplaced?

This is a quick and easy read, but one that gives the reader much to ponder concerning life and relationships with others. If you enjoy a short romance with depth and strong characters, you will love this story.
