I picked this book up at my local library. I just purchased a house, which had a very overgrown garden. This book had actual plans that I was able to utilize to whip my garden back into shape. It is nice to see each plan rendered twice...maybe once for sunny and again for shady, etc. This quote from the back sums it up best..."This idea-filled book takes the guesswork out of landscaping so you can focus on the fun. I would highly recommend this book for someone who is starting out landscaping or needs some ideas to get started.
