This is my absolute favorite of Brenda Novak's Dundee series. I have read it at least 6 times and it still grabs my heart. I love the whole Dundee series but this is the best.

This is a bit of a tear jerker, as you feel so sorry for the star of the book, Lucky. She is a strong character that sticks her guns in. But, amidst the tears, many laughs were found as you relate to the struggles of growing up, family, and demolition derbys (repairs on your home)!
