This was a facinating true story about a haunting in the author's home on Long Island. It was so good that I read it in one sitting. Gives the reader lots to think about regarding Catholicism, spiritualism, saints and weird phenomena.

It took a a few pages to get to the real grit of the story, the first half of the book was mostly info and background...abeit important to know, so please don't skip thru . Somewhere about the middle i was turning pages quickly. I loved the way this author wrote, his turn with words is like sitting at the kitchen table over coffee with him talking. Smooth and just flowing. I was never lost or backtracking. Read the book in one sitting, it was a nice way to spend my afternoon. Yes, upon reflection after i finished reading...it was a bit scary, but only for the fact that he did have ghosts in his home. The thought of that alone is scary. Not that they were totally spooky. I felt very sorry for the ghosts when he found out who they were. Lost souls he was able to help. Oh....after reading this one thing you should remember...be careful what you say and think!!!!
