This was a solid, engaging mystery set in suburbia where everybody seems to be hiding a secret. My only complaint was that at times I felt there were too many characters and I was a little confused as to who was who and what exactly was going on. But that may be due entirely to the fact that I might have zoned out a time or two due to my scattered mind (not the book, it really was interesting and unpredictable).
I tend to agree with the statement of one of the previous reveiw, in that there are just too many characters to keep straight. I'm not speaking about characters that just pass through the plot; I'm referring to characters that you find are an integral part of the plot.
In fact I have found this to be true with several of the more recent Coben novels I have read. Maybe I'm just getting too old and need to go back to Patterson. :-)
