Although the attention to detail can become sort of tedious and made my eyes glaze over a few times, I never considered giving up on this. French is thorough to say the least in his investigation and questioning of people involved. Not much action, and maybe a little long at 300+ pages, but it was an okay read. It's a "Police Procedural," in spades.
