I enjoyed this read. The banter back and forth between Sam and Avra was priceless. They really had me laughing a lot of the times, but also had me saying wow some of the times as well. The wow was because their love scenes were spicy. I am hoping Ms. Washington takes this series independent because there are a lot more stories to tell, and her writing them independent would make them all the more enjoyable. We haven't learned much about the Ross and Melendez other brothers and sisters, and I am curious to find out about them, and what happens with Sam and Avra.

Samson & Avra are on FIRE...and despite their CONSTANT verbal sparring there is an underlying DESIRE that neither can RESIST...but can Sam convince Avra that his BARK is much worse than his BITE...or will they be FOREVER doomed to AVOID each other during their many family and/or business gatherings...this SIZZLING romance keeps me turning the pages...IMHO the little mystery wasn't so SUPRISING...the suspense DEFINTIELY lost some of it's THRILL as the story progressed...but it's still another worthwhile read by Ms. Washington...I also HOPE to catch up with the rest of the Melendez and Ross family in future novels.
