Though I enjoyed this book, the poor editing was very aggravating. The characters thoughts are all in quotes as if they are speaking to someone instead of in italics (or something). I kept having to stop and reread to see who the heck they were talking to. It was very annoying as it happened throughout the entire book. Also there are a ton of dropped words (in, the, on, and, or etc). Here's an example: "And a huge snowflake plonked between their close faces, landing his mouth."
Ms. Hauf did introduce a new concept in vampire lore. Witch blood instantly kills vampires. This makes the ware between vampires and witches rather interesting and deadly.

This is the second of three books about the battle between vampires and witches. It has some steamy scenes and a lot of conveniences (he's incredibly wealthy, she has no living family to miss) but is a fun read for what it is.

Love it, never got boring and it was hard to put down.
