This book sent me through an entire range of emotions. Admiration for the courage of Susan Ray. Anger at the egos of the men who participate in polygamy for their own satisfaction while cloaking it in religion. Sadness for the many women and children who are trapped in this lifestyle.
I cried, I raged and yet I could not put the book down. This story takes the reader on an emotional journey that is not always easy.

I couldn't put this book down from the second I picked it up. It shows amazing courage and sadness... and a terrible lifestyle that is baffling to think still goes on today.
