Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before I ordered this book. I am half way through and have never been able to get into it. To me it is just plain boring.
I am going to give up on this book and get to another book that works for me.

I don't know if it is just me, but this book seemed totally different from his other works. Almost as if it was written by someone else. It was an "ok" book but not as good as his earlier stuff in my opinion.

Big disappointment!! I didn't finish this, after getting half through it I realized it just wasn't getting anywhere and was really just boring and seemed to have so much that didn't make sense!

Steve Nye is just an average guy slogging through life until his dementia afflicted father utters the words, "I killed her."

Typically I enjoy Little's writing but this one was just not very good. The characters are not well developed and some of the scenarios just don't gel. At times I was tempted to just dump the book but I kept hoping it would get better.

I gave it 2.25 stars because it is a great premise that was poorly handled.

I bought this book brand new when it first came out (rare for me, lol) because I love Bentley Little...but for some reason this book didnt seem to hold me like his other books. It was just "okay" Still glad I read it.
