Fun and funny. There are a few moments when the flow breaks in a strange way (an editing thing, perhaps?) and the characters are pretty superficial - not drawn so much as sketched out- but on the whole an entertaining and lighthearted read.

My first read of Edith Layton. Regency England. Pretty good book, although I did get distracted in a few scenes and had to go back to re-read to understand the story, but I will try another from her backlist before I make a final judgement. Recommended read for lovers of this genre, but not on my absolute favorite list.
