I loved this final story in this series, but if I were to do the series again, I would have read this one first and then started at the beginning. This would have been a wonderful introduction, but that is just me. Others may not agree and prefer it the other way. That being said I truly liked this series, so more than others but if you are looking for a good story with a good basis, cozy and clean this is the writer for you. No hard core stuff at all. Cozy, clean and joyful.

this is a very good book i really enjoyed it i am from Missouri and this book is about a small town named Hideaway, Missouri... i could barely put it down its a very refreshening book and can teach you stuff..

5 stars! I loved this book. Terrific story about returning WW2 soldier Red Meyers to his hometown in the Ozarks. He left behind his sweetheart Roberta Moenning, but now wounded and walking with a cane, he feels like he needs to let her go and not burden her with a crippled beau. Throw in a good mystery and this is one book you won't be sorry you read!
