Although I didn't think Hide From Evil was as good as its predecessor, Beg For Mercy, I thought it was a solid follow up. Beg For Mercy was gritty, filled with edge-of-your-seat suspense, and kept you guessing up until the end. Hide From Evil was much different because there was not really any mystery as far as who was behind everything. While I think this installment lacked some of the magic both in romance and suspense that Beg For Mercy captivated me with, I still think Jami Alden did a good job with the story. I am very excited for the final installment in the trilogy to come out!
Jami Alden has a way of grabbing hold and not letting go! I could not put the book down!! The last person Sean Flynn wanted to see is the woman who put him in prison for 3 years for a crime he did not commit. Krista Slater needs answers to questions about a case that is not adding up, so she turns to the only person who might be able to give her the answers. Together they will have to try to stay alive while finding out who is behind several killings.
