I'll try new authors and test their writing style
Had high hopes for this one to start a new series but alas, I didn't like the MC at all! I think I liked the grumpy partner better until he got replaced--oh well
The story just doesn't flow very well, it is slow and draggy and just gets boring, some events that you just can't believe
Got it from the library along with book 2 but won't be reading it or anymore by Clark unless she can up her game and write a more 'thrill' filled story, this one was just blah for me
