Very disappointing read. Almost made me regret having spent a book credit on it. The story line was a little bland. The main character was too whiny. I just couldn't find myself gettting through it fast enough. I'm a quick reader and I found myself not wanting to waste my time on it. I love Lori Handelands previous books, so I don't know if the subject matter is just not appealing to her anymore and she's writing just to write; or if it's me outgrowing her.
Not one of my favorites at all.

One of my favorites in this FANTASTIC series. You can read this one without having read the other ones and not get confused. LOVE Lori Handeland's books.
I love Lori Handeland. All the books in the "moon" series have a common thread but are completely stand alone books. This story about werewolves and shape-shifters was romance, mystery & comedy all in one. I kept thinking I had it figured out but I didn't. Ended w/ apperances from a few of the past characters in the "moon" series. A tad too much "romance" for me, as I like more paranormal & less romance but it was all in all a very good, enjoyable read.
Another great story that I read straight through. A mystery to the end!
I just read this book, not by choice, but because someone told me I really should read it. It was a little bit slow to start, but it was a very good read. It has romance, paranormal and mystery. It kept me guessing to the end. The character of Malachi Cartwright is very intruging and I liked the character of Grace, the best friend of the female lead, Claire. I don't usually read books about werewolves, shapeshifters, etc. but I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it.
Intriguing book with a touch of romance.
